Faster pop up

It's not really a question but neither a bug, rather a comment for improvement of OnBoard :

The acccents access doesn't pop up fast enough (it takes almost 2 seconds to show up), which ruins the writer workflow and make OnBoard not very efficient in its use.

Can it be accelerated ? Maybe to have the speed configurable in the settings would be a good solution. Letting people to have accents pop up immediatly would be more than great.

There is a hidden setting for the delay. You can use the terminal to alter the value of the delay. Type for example the following command into the terminal to set the value of the delay to 0.1 seconds:

gsettings set org.onboard.keyboard long-press-delay 0.1

Hi Francesco ! I just did it and it worked fine. Awesome, so much better when fast like that ! I suggest the next update of OnBoard to put this speed as default :)

I just redid it this time setting delay at 0, and even even better. Actually, this pop up doesn't need a delay at all, unless someone likes to be slowed down...
So yes, I really suggest the delay to be erased, if it's possible. That would be a good improvement for OnBoard.
