Onboard

ascii codec can't decode

Hello,

i want run onboard on laptop and when i start it crashed with the follow message:

Hello,

so okay i have mousetweaks install and so onboard started. Now come the message:

siefke@sabayon ~ $ onboard
2012-03-18 18:12:47,495:ERROR:root: Could not find any typelib for AppIndicator3

Have someone a advice for this message?

AppIndicator should be optional. It's for the status icon in Ubuntu and onboard should fall back to the gtk status icon if AppIndicator isn't installed.

The error message isn't t supposed to be that visible. I'm not really sure where it comes from, though I'll see if I can turn it off.
