I'll answer for the products I know about:
- Apple Magic Mouse: yes
- Apple Magic Trackpad: not yet

You can find those at:
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Multitouch/AppleMagicMouse
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Multitouch/AppleMagicTrackpad

For other devices information see (and subscribe to):
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Multitouch/

I am updating such resources regularly, and anyone in the community is welcome to update them too. Make sure you subscribe as I'd expect several updates and developments over the next few days/weeks.

Hi ethana2

Chase Douglas blogged about this today. See:
http://voices.canonical.com/chase.douglas/2010/08/16/decoding-apples-magic-trackpad/

I will cite him:
"We’ve received a lot of questions on whether Apple multitouch products will be supported in Ubuntu 10.10. I’m pleased to say that all of the currently available products will have some support:

    * Magic Mouse
    * Magic Trackpad
    * iPhone
    * iPod
    * iPad
    * Macbook, Macbook Air, and Macbook Pro with multitouch touchpads"

Can you help with this problem?
