Many problems with 3G in Karmic

Hi there. I have been testing karmic for a while and noticed how NM has so many problems with 3G connections that were not so noticeable in Jaunty. Connecting with wvdial or gnome-ppp shows not problem at all. I've been waiting for some time now until things would get more stable with karmic, but since we are only a month from its release date I thought I should share this. I have a full repport with logs. Do you think it's best to post them here or should I file a bug report?

Hi Ignacio, My advice would be to continue to update your version of Karmic (daily) and file your issues as bug reports. I have noticed that the Karmic bugs are being fixed rapidly with every update. That means if someone were to be able to answer your question here, the answer would likely become obsolete quickly.

If you are fortunate enough to live in a place that has an Ubuntu LoCo nearby, there is a "Global Jam" event happening this weekend (Oct 2-4th 2009) where many of the local users are participating in bug reporting. You can find the list of LoCo teams here: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/LoCoTeamList
