Ubuntu Netbook Remix

cannot watch videos on internet

I really like the ubuntu netbook remix, it's very stable and easy to use, but one thing is driving me crazy. I cannot watch videos on youtube or anywhere else. I have the eee pc 1000.

Does anyone know how to fix it?

When trying to watch the videos, does it ask about installing the flash player?

No. It uploads the video and plays the sound, but there's no image. And after a while the sound also stops.

try to install the flash player firefox plugin from adobe and restart the browser and see what happens.

Thanks, but still nothing. I install the plugin normally, but it still doesn't stream.

HI! I've installed Opera internet browser and now everything works properly.
