Xubuntu 8.04.1 issues
Hello,
I've made a neat Xubuntu 8.04.1 installation on my Acer Aspire One, by following this tutorial : https:/
Problem is, I'm on Xfce. So, I couldn't add "Go Home Applet" or "Window Picker Applet" to my panel. After a reboot, the Netbook Remix interface appeared, but without any useful icons - see on this screenshot : http://
It didn't keep the Xfce wallpaper. A right-click on this only shows "Modifier le papier peint" ("Modify wallpaper") ; but clicking on this menu doesn't do anything. Also, the "Quitter" ("Quit") option doesn't work either.
How can I make Netbook Remix act and look like a proper installation on a Gnome desktop, yet still by using Xfce on Xubuntu ? Or, is there a way to revert back to the normal Xfce desktop ?
Thanks for your advices. Please forgive my bad English : French is my native language.
