Music app crash

Hi, since a few days, when i try to open the Music app it crashes or sometimes it don't recognize any of the music i have stored on my sd card, sometimes recognize some of them, or get a black screen with no results shown, anyone have the same issue? thanks

Hi Miguel! I would think this has something to do with the mounting and unmounting of your SD card. A quick fix would be to force the mediascanner to rescan your files with the following command (executed on the device):

restart mediascanner-2.0

If you frequently see this issue, could you file a bug report with following log files as attachments?

1. /home/phablet/.cache/upstart/mediascanner-2.0.log
2. /home/phablet/.cache/upstart/application-click-com.ubuntu.music_music_2.0.*.log
