io.murano.applications in Mitaka

Asked by Mateo Boudet

Hi,

I am trying to use the ApacheHTTPServer V1 package in our Mitaka Murano install.
This package require the Application Development Library package, which was imported in Murano.

However, Murano does not seems to be able to locate the classes in the package when deploying the environnement, with this error:

NoClassFound: Class "io.murano.applications.MultiServerApplicationWithScaling" is not found in io.murano.applications/0.0.0, io.murano/0.0.0, com.example.apache.ApacheHttpServer/1.0.0

Is this an issue with the Openstack version itself?

Edit: What is the correct way to import the library? Does it works through import via the dashboard?

Thanks

Application Development Library was developed in Newton cycle and relies on some core MuranoPL features which are not present in Mitaka.

You can import the library packages using the same UI/CLI that you use to import application packages. io.murano.application package is not going to work in Mitaka, but it doesn't explain to me why do you get NoClassFound error. It might be a bug in Murano Mitaka or the app development package that you imported is somehow incorrect

Can you help with this problem?
