How does one go about getting their mud listed as a default profile with Mudlet?

I'm a player on a new mud called Aadaria. I've been talking with their imm staff, who are great and helpful. Then, it dawned on me that there must be a way to get approved as a default profile in Mudlet. Any information on this process would be extremely helpful.

I'm sorry but we haven't made any use of this area in the past. Your question may have gotten a more lively response on the forums (http://forums.mudlet.org/index.php) but the bottom line is that the defaults have come about as entries coded in by developers in response to Muds that have been important to them or who have been helpful in working with/on Mudlet usually in response to debugging a feature.

From a look at that part of the codebase, speaking purely as a coder, a new MUD seeking to get such a thing would need to provide a paragraph or two, possibly including basic HTML tags if required, about the MUD, a MUD URL including a port number and ideally a website as well. If they wished to offer a Mudlet map or custom user GUI/setup for the user to download automagically that would possibly make them a more attractive candidate IMHO and a GPLed image that looks good if scaled to 120x30 to use on the profile pages is a must!

I must advise you that this is just my take on the matter and I expect there would have to be a degree of agreement before any more default profiles would be added - but hey, if you didn't ask, you would have had no chance so go for it...!
