line thickness

Asked by Tim

Hi,

moderncv is a great class. I tried to adjust the layout a littlebit. I wanted to change the line thickness of the lines that are next to every section. I was checking the moderncvcasual.sty but didn´t find the definition for the line thickness. Where can I change this.
I would be ver happy for your help.

Thanks,

Tim

Hi Tim,

Just look for the following line:
  \parbox[t]{\hintscolumnwidth}{\strut\raggedleft\raisebox{\baseletterheight}{\color{color1}\rule{\hintscolumnwidth}{0.95ex}}}%

The number you want to change is the "0.95ex".

Kind regards,

Can I somehow change line thickness only in my specific document? Without changing it globally?

If I want to change it to 0.35ex, then how can I move it up a little (because then it wont be centred with section text)?

Best regards,
