cross sections only to hard processes

Dear developers
It is possible have a cross section just to a hard scattering, not from pp, from madevent?
for example, a cross section to the process
-
< e+e->e+e-e+e- >
-
or a to process only in between particles of a new UFO model?
I didn't foud nothing on the documentation or tutorials that mention the possibility
-
after that it is possible have automatized plots of the cross section with a model parameter/CM energy from ?

Hi,
sory to bother you,
I had just realized that to have cross sections to not pp, it is just turn of the PDF`s on the run cards
but the issue of the possibity of make automatic plots with energy/parameter is still alive

yes perfect!!

For this you need to install an external package called MadAnalysis.
In order to install it,
./bin/mg5
mg5> install MadAnalysis

Some Linux 64 bit have sometimes problem with the topdrawer part
(which is compiled for 32 bit)
if you are in this case, the install command will prompt to this
webpage:
https://server06.fynu.ucl.ac.be/projects/madgraph/wiki/TopDrawer
But in general, the code adapt the compilation nicely to your system.

When MadAnalysis is installed, MG5 creates automatically various plot
(that you can customize if needed)

Note that this version is quite basic. On Friday, They are going to
release the RC1 of MadAnalysis5.
Which is much more powefull. (better plot, more customizable, more
variables, ...)
