can not get updates on medi ubuntu

this is what it says dont understand was able to get updates yesterday but this morning on sep 8 john@john-desktop:~$ sudo apt-get update

Hi, for the connection refused error, I had to restart the server yesterday, which broke the service during 10/15minutes. Everything is fine now.

For the other error (Permission denied), you just forgot a sudo.

I close the question.
