DNS entries for packages.medibuntu.org broken.

Asked by Jason Costomiris

The currently distributed gutsy.list repo file points to packages.medibuntu.org. This hostname returns 4 A records and an AAAA record. That's all well & good, particularly since I've got IPv6 connectivity. The problem is that there is no httpd bound to the IPv6 address shown below. Can you guys either correct the httpd configuration for that host, or remove the AAAA record?

Here's what the DNS shows:

# host packages.medibuntu.org
packages.medibuntu.org has address 88.191.30.43
packages.medibuntu.org has address 213.186.45.139
packages.medibuntu.org has address 87.98.242.10
packages.medibuntu.org has address 88.191.26.58
packages.medibuntu.org has IPv6 address 2a01:e0b:1:58:240:63ff:feec:1cfc

Can't connect to that ipv6 address on port 80:

# telnet packages.medibuntu.org 80
Trying 2a01:e0b:1:58:240:63ff:feec:1cfc...

But can connect to valid ipv6 http servers without trouble:

# telnet www.kame.net 80
Trying 2001:200:0:8002:203:47ff:fea5:3085...
Connected to www.kame.net.
