edit channel list

Asked by Ian Bardsley

Firstly thanks for a great little app. As it developes its going to be a magic stand alone tv player for gnome.

Scanning for channels finds many duplicates of the same broadcater here in Canberra and would be nice to weed out those that are not needed and make the EPG smaller.

Is there a safe way to achieve this?

Thanks again and keep up the good work

Hi Ian,

I'm also a Canberran. If you are using the 0.5 series then it uses a channels.conf file located in the ~/.me-tv directory. That file is safe to edit with a text editor. If you open it up I'm sure that you'll work it out very quickly.

Cheers,

Michael
