no response/video/epg with me-tv-2.0

i have me-tv-1.3.1 installed from maverick, and it works. i'm able to watch and record video/audio from my wintv-hvr-950q

trying to run me-tv-2.0 from bzr. checked out -r 112, got the dependencies installed, the build succeeded and i installed to my home directory. the server and the client start

the client attempted to import channels.conf, but failed. i worked around this by using sqlite3 to dump the sql from me-tv.db, added 2 columns (0s) to the insert, and added it to me-tv2.db. this appears to be successful - the tuner shows the channel that i added

however, no video or audio play, the epg info doesn't update, and the tuner just displays a grayed out "Unknown program". the menus appear to be working (though the preferences dialog doesn't have as many options as 1.3)

should -r 112 work ? is it 2.0.2 ? i've also tried -r 90 (2.0.1) and gotten the same response

i've saved the client and server verbose output. nothing looks obviously wrong to me ... can't see a way to attach the files here, but if they'd help i'll find somewhere to post them

i got 2.0.2 working. using 1.3 (azap probably would have worked too), i changed the channel to one that i'd imported and exited. then i restarted 2.0.2 and everything worked
