remember sound volume settings between sessions

I think it would be cool if me-tv would remember the sound volume setting between sessions. If I set the volume (slider in me-tv) to 50%, shut down me-tv and start it again, it is set to 100%. It would be cool if it did remember the setting.
Btw - I'm using 1.3.1 under Ubuntu 10.10...
