Fantastic work
I am a complete newbie on Linux and Ubuntu, switching over from Windows three weeks ago. After setting up 10.04 on my Asus G50V laptop I started to add my hardware. I had a Pinnacle 74e Pico USB DVB-T stick, and absolutely no hope of getting it to work... But a search for "TV" in Ubuntu Software Center directed me to Me-TV. I installed it, picked my town in Sweden, and Eureka... TV and radio in my laptop!
There were some banding/pixelation when watching transmissions with fast moving objects (i.e. football), so the only tiny bit of tweaking I have done was selecting the video driver "Open GL" as opposed to the default "XSHM"... Now I have a perfect image even though my signal strength rarely exceeds 30-40%
So this is not really a question, I just wanted to express my deep gratitude for all the great work. I have already recorded some highlights from the World Cup :-)
