troubleshooting

after installing the product_m2categories module , i tried finally to install the magentoerpconnect module.

Unfortunately , a big error appears after click applied scheduled upgrades.

NotSupportedError: cannot alter type of a column used by a view or rule
DETAIL: rule _RETURN on view report_partner_member_year_new depends on column "discount"

I installed
base_external_referentials.zip
base_sale_multichannels.zip
product_m2mcategories.zip

I am doing something wrong?

I am no authority on this module, yet it may be that you have a bug from another module. that can be commission rates etc. try a clean install and then add up gradually one by one and test.

I had the exact same error in the first few attempts.

Here is what I did:
1) start w/ a fresh database
2) minimal profile
3) install l10n_chart_us_general module
4) configure accounts
5) install base_sale_multichannels module
6) install base_external_referentials module
7) install board_sale module
8) install product_m2mcategories module
9) create a product category under products
10) install openerp-module module

I don't see the above error again. Good luck!

what i did is go to line 129 and 130 in the file sale.py and commented the alter table,

it sets the precision to 6 decimal places. at most you can stop erp server and edit this in pgadmin to increase the precision if you need it. this will allow it to work!
