Want to remove Lubuntu Software Center from Ubuntu 11.10

Yesterday I accidentally downloaded and installed Lubuntu Software Center onto my Ubuntu 11.10 oneric system.

 I want to remove it (or is it necessary?), but don't know how to do that.

don't worry. it won't do any harm to your PC if not removed. If you still want to remove it, go to synaptic package manager or Ubuntu software center, search for Lubuntu software center and click it. you will get an option to unistall it. give the admin password when prompted and you are done.

Thank you! If I don't uninstall it, can I benefit by using it? I actually like its gui more than Synaptic.

if you like the gui...then use it.....there is nothing wrong with that.

You can also do "sudo apt-get remove lubuntu-software-center".
