First of all, you should know what the .lrc file is. Please visit the wiki page: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/LRC_%28file_format%29

lrcShow-X uses .lrc file as lyrics source. Every time, lrcShow-X would search local to find the matched .lrc file first, the default path of searching and saving is $HOME, so the first time you use lrcShow-X, you'd better set the directory where the .lrc files locate (right click menu - Other functions - Configure... - Path). Of course you could set more than one directory.

Now we wouldn't have problem on local .lrc file directory, but you have to know the match rule. Either "artist - title.lrc" or "media file name.lrc" would be matched, you could switch the match rule freely (right click menu - Other functions - Configure... - General - Search local and name lrc file as media file's name). "artist", "title" and "media file name" are gotten from media file's tags, you should ensure the tags information showed in media player are correct.
