Can I get a link to download an entire branch in stead of separate files?

I would like people to be able to download the entire tree for either a specific revision or for the latest revision. I've found how to let people download individual files, but I haven't found how to let people download a tree at once. Is this possible in 1.17? If not, could this one day be added?

This is bug 240580 - it's not fixed in trunk yet, but there is a branch that claims to fix it. You could try that and comment on the bug.
