LinuxDC++ unable to dwnld files

Hello.

I am new to linux. I am using ubuntu 12.10. Recently installed LinuxDC++ version: 1.1.0,Core version: 0.75.Initially it was working just fine. But now when I try to download files, program is saying "waiting for slot".I tried to download from different users and waited for quite some time(couple of hrs). But nothing happened.

Plz help.

It's because of the program type. DirectConnect technology is about high speed connections between last users. But every connection make you file owner computer slow. So there is a "slot" limit. And you can usr only one slot a time. So nobody else can use slot you are using.

So just wait for another slot. Or choose another copy of file.
