Infinite "SERVER IS MARKED DEAD" with version 1.0.17

Hi.

I'm using libmemcached-1.0.17 and four instances of memcached-1.4.2.
I've set REMOVE_FAILED_SERVERS to 1 and killed one of the memcached processes.

Now I see very large number of SERVER IS MARKED DEAD on $STOPPED_SERVER messages.
How can I redistribute keys for complete removal of the failed server?

As I understood, after marking dead server isn't removed from the pool.
It seems to be impossible to change pool dynamically (at least for now I don't know any way).
