Registration of a new distribution

I would like to register a new distribution on Launchpad. It is called LFU - from Learn Free with Ubuntu.

Here is the the short description: LFU is free operating system for your computer. It is created with the idea be useful in the educational sphere, and to be ready for everyday use. LFU is based on one of the most popular Linux distributions – Ubuntu.

Some highlights:

- Completely free operation system for use and share

- Over 55 ready to use educational applications from different knowledge fields

- Rich collection of most needed applications for everyday work

- Working environment in Bulgarian language

- Live DVD or USB Flash with no need of installation to try

Name of Distribution: LFU
Team: LFU Core Developers

I have already registered https://launchpad.net/lfu. Can I use this registration for LFU distribution?

I and Svetoslav Stefanov will be the LFU Core Developers (we are working together on LFU)

Hi Svetoslav,

You should be able to create and administer the LFU COre Developers.

As for creating a new distro, I think you are better off managing your distro inside the lfu project. Distribution projects are actually very limited, unless its the Ubuntu one. There is no real incentive to use them. Once having a Distribution instead of a Project object is actually useful, we should turn your project into a distribution, but for now simply use the project.
