I'd be happy to do that for you. Would it be possible to provide us with a little feedback as to why you're cancelling the project - i.e. whether it's related to happiness with Launchpad or external factors?

Sure. I'm continuing the project, just using my own mutated combination of media wiki, bugzilla, svn, and ruby on rails. I've spent a lot of time trying to find or make tools for project management. I even spent some time hacking redMine to try and have it met my needs. I really truly would like to use launchpad for my project, but I feel that it has too many usability problems, and goes against the spirit of open source.

I have a huge problem with using 3rd party services that I have little control over. I don't agree with Mark Shuttleworth's opinion that it is ok to have proprietary services. And I am still waiting for a way to export and backup my data that was talked about before. That is one of the things my project is designed to solve. All your data, revision control systems and communication is controlled by the end user and can be run from their local machine.

The other problem of control I have ,is that I have to use the “ask a question” system to have anything changed on my project. I ended up just ignoring milestones, branches, and series when I messed up on creating them. To me it was easier to ignore them, then ask to have them deleted.

The user interface is very confusing to me. There is navigation along the top, left, right, and bottom of every page. And it changes depending on the page you are on. It is cluttered with lots of unnecessary information and links, making it hard to find the category you are looking for. I still can't find where to create groups for my project. I think it would be hundreds of times better if it was more like redMine, where there is one navigation on the left and links to more specialized things are on the pages following those links.

Well anyways. Good luck with launchpad. Ubuntu is very nice. I hope that is a good enough explanation for you. Feel free to ask anything else, if that was too confusing.

Thanks for the feedback, and thanks for using Launchpad. Your project and account will be disabled in the next 5 minutes.

Err. This has been solved for a while. I did not realize that "Answered" and "Solved" did not mean the same thing. Kind of ambiguous.
