Changing launchpad username with a ppa in place

My username is shanepatrickfagan id like to change it to fagan but I have a ppa so I cant do it myself.
I know I should have read the ppa warning about username switching but I didnt read it. (my bad)
Now that im a ubuntu member I have a problem that my @ubuntu.com address is really long so I need to change it.
Oh launchpad admins please help.

I am sorry, no help here, that's why that warning is there. Your only bet is to create a new account. Sorry.
