Bug #81369 Implemented?

A different solution was finally chosen. English is now basically "just another language". So, if you want the team to also receive English questions, you should add English to your team's preferred language.

Thanks for your reply. I have Greek selected as the team language, but it keeps receiving both english and greek questions. We just want to receive messages in Greek. The notifications for this team are NOT being delivered to each team member but are delivered to our mailing list (https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-greek-users/+editemail). If you see the mailing list archive, english questions where delivered to the list (https://lists.ubuntu.com/archives/ubuntu-gr/2007-June/date.html) and I had to remove the team from being an answer contact. Am I doing something wrong or the bug is not fixed when notifications are forwarded to a mailing list?

Can you verify that English is not selected in your team preferred languages? When we rolled out 1.1.6 we added English as a preferred language for all registered answer contact. So it might be possible that we added English to your team. If this is the case, just remove it and everything should work fine. Otherwise (if only Greek is in the team's preferred language then we have a bug).

You cannot see or change a team's preferred language in the current UI. If you are clever and hack the URL to see the team, you will in fact be seeing your languages. Changes made on that same page will change your languages.

The UI changes for managing team preferred languages are committed. They will be released with Launchpad 1.1.7 in late July. I'm sorry this was not ready with the rest of the changes.

But I had changed the language using the url https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-greek-users/+editlanguages and I double checked that Greek is the only selected language.

Your are changing yourself, not the team. That page only shows data from the user who is viewing the page, not the team. Without direct database access, we cannot know what the team's languages are set to.

So is there any work around or we have to wait till the next launchpad rollout in July to set teams as answer contacts?

Athanasios, Christian is correct. You should be able to set the team's language by visiting
https://edge.launchpad.net/~ubuntu-greek-users/ and choose set preferred languages.
