Using Launchpad for translations in Gentoo Linux

I am trying to use Launchpad translation facilities for the Gentoo package descriptions. The conversion from our XML format to PO is possible, so I would like to be able to upload those to the Gentoo project page. As far as I can see, I need to be the driver or administrator of that project.
Can I get that position? I am already Moderator of Gentoo Members and additionally a official Gentoo developer (<email address hidden>). Thanks in advance.
