How long should bug watch updater take to update the status of a bug?

Hello,

I've been noticing that some bugs are not getting updated on LP when they are fixed upstream. For example:
https://bugs.launchpad.net/gnome-power/+bug/397248
was marked fixed/resolved at:
http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=331002
but it hasn't updated the LP bug yet. I've also seen this on the Linux Kernel bugzilla. Is this OK (am I too impatient) or is this unusual.

This is an ongoing problem with syncing bugs from the Gnome Bugzilla. There's a known bug about Launchpad not being terribly smart when it encounters errors in the remote bug tracker. When that happens it can take a while for Launchpad to re-check the bug watches that it had problems with.

We're currently running the bug watch updater against the Gnome Bugzilla to ensure that these bug watches are updated. If you continue to see issues like this, please file a question at http://launchpad.net/answers/malone and we can look into individual cases. Typically a bug watch should take less than 24 hours to be updated.
