How to import Ubuntu into my own project?

Asked by Agron Selimaj

I created a new project rksubuntu which will be exactly the same as ubuntu itself plus Kosovo information.

I basically need to import all ubuntu source code of all packages and build scripts.

I tried to import ubuntu into rksubuntu but it failed.

What is the correct way of importing ubuntu into launchpad?

Thanks,
//Agron

Currently, we don't provide a distribution package building service publically at the moment. Do you actually need a separate distribution for this?

That's fine. Let's have the distribution source code and build scripts.
We can build and package elsewhere.

Do you have any suggestions? What would we need for this?

So both DAK, the tools which Debian uses, and reprepro,
http://mirrorer.alioth.debian.org/ are interesting solutions for
managing packages in a debian-style archive. Have you considered using
either of them?
