Open a bug for git-ubuntu package failed several times

Hi team,

I made some attempts to open a bug against git-ubuntu package and they always end in the "Oops!" page.

The last ID Error I have is the following one: Error ID: OOPS-96dd1e58267750159e03d6ccc8d0f6c8.

In case it helps, I'm using Chrome Version 107.0.5304.87 (Official Build) (64-bit) on Focal.

That OOPS is indicating that the package git-ubuntu not published in Ubuntu, can you provide a link to the published package you're trying against? Is it possible it is published in a PPA and not in a distro ?

Oh, you're right! It is true that on the git-ubuntu page ( https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/git-ubuntu ) it says "There is no current version for this source package in Ubuntu".

But if you click on the Bugs section, it looks like the user can file in a bug from there (the page https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/git-ubuntu/+filebug exists), which leads to misunderstandings like mine.
