Mail delivery failure to <email address hidden>

Hi Launchpad team,

There may be an issue with the email server as we've been getting delivery failure notices all day:

  <email address hidden>
    all hosts for 'mail.canonical.com' have been failing for a long time (and retry time not reached)

I hope the server only needs a little TLC. :-)

Thanks for the patience. These emails were triggered by our Gerrit instance to post a link to the code review automatically to Launchpad.

An example of where it worked is https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1978300 comment 4.

Hey Kristina,

I am a bit confused now. You reported the problem on 2022-06-13, and now you are showing us an example that it worked on 2022-06-16.

Has this issue been resolved for you?

If not, please elaborate what does not work in what expected way.

Hi Jürgen,

The example was from when an email was sent so that you could see a working example as I can't show an item in Launchpad where the email wasn't sent as it didn't add a comment. ;-)

It hasn't happened in a few days so I think I'll close this and will report back if it happens again. Maybe it was a hiccup on the server.
