Abandoned project "sssd"
The Launchpad project "sssd" (https:/
I contacted the user who registered the project in Launchpad, but did not receive a response after 7 days. He has never contributed to the upstream source code, according to multiple searches of the commit history using 'git log --author'. It also appears that he has not contributed to any project hosted on Launchpad in over 5 years.
Currently, the project is misconfigured:
* the home page is a broken link; it should be https:/
* the upstream code import (lp:sssd) is broken. This should be a Git repository (not Bazaar), and it should point to https:/
* the project description on Launchpad was taken from the upstream home page above, which has been changed slightly to the following:
"SSSD is a system daemon. Its primary function is to provide access to local or remote identity and authentication resources through a common framework that can provide caching and offline support to the system. It provides several interfaces, including NSS and PAM modules or a D-Bus interface"
Can you please make these changes to this Launchpad project?
I am not a maintainer of the upstream SSSD project. Can the ownership/
Thank you!
