I downloaded italian translation for Kapete. I't a .op file. Where I must put it, for translate my Kapete into Italian?

If you just want to translate it, you can do it directly in the Launchpad, over the web: no need to download anything, just go ahead and translate.

What you have downloaded is a "PO file". To read more about it, you can check GNU gettext documentation at http://www.gnu.org/software/gettext/manual/html_node/gettext_9.html#PO-Files
You probably want an easier tool to translate those files, and I'll suggest KBabel, GTranslator or POEdit. When you translate it, you can submit it back using "Upload translation" from Launchpad.
