hosting our organization

We are an organization of academic medical centers that are collaborating on the development of software for a specific software platform. We are looking at Launchpad as the hosting site for the software.
Does it matter how specific / narrow the focus is for the projects hosted on Launchpad ?

Hello Bryan.

Generally, as long as the software is released under an open-source license, you can use Launchpad for free; and if it is proprietary, you can contact us about our commercial services.
