I am unintentionally maintaining 2 projects. How do I correct that?

Recently, I've had to register 2 upstream projects with Launchpad, so that I can add links to their upstream bug trackers for bugs opened in Ubuntu. I don't know whether I was meant to do this, but because I did, I am now inadvertently listed as the maintainer of those 2 projects. I'm not actually the maintainer, and that was not my intention when I registered the projects.

The 2 projects are libmtp and pidgin-encryption.

Is it possible for these 2 projects to be offloaded to somebody who has an interest in maintaining them, or to the "registry" team?
