merge of two accounts missing older membership date

After a successful merge of the account pttrtim into the "newer" but more used account musikgoat, I found that my membership date still shows the newer date.

In my opinion, part of the merge should include merging the older membership date, even if you merge the older account into the newer account.

Can this be corrected? Can I have the original membership date of pttrtim merged into musikgoat? Is it too late as ~pttrtim is no longer accessible, due to the merging?

Hi Tim,

I agree that merging accounts should keep the oldest membership date. I've filed a bug about it; it's linked this question.

Unfortunately the old account information has been removed, so we can't merge the original membership date.
