Launchamd MailList and Gmane

Hi!

I'd like to chain OpenSynergy Team mail list with Gmane.org to get the News functionality.
However, to do this Gmane has to send a subscription message to the mail list, which - if I
understand launchpad mail list policy correctly, can be done only from the launchpad interface and
non-launchpad user can not subscribe to the list.

Maybe a Launchpad administrators have a possibility to subscribe to the list an external (non-launchpad) user manually?

I don't think that's possible. We can't, as a policy, send email to users who aren't registered in Launchpad.

I've also checked the https://bugs.edge.launchpad.net/launchpad/+bug/208238 which discusses the issue.
