Please import gnucash trunk from tarball

Asked by Rolf Leggewie

please abort the import of https://code.launchpad.net/~vcs-imports/gnucash/trunk (the admin of the server is complaining about excessive use of bandwidth -> bug 244575) and use http://wwwcip.informatik.uni-erlangen.de/~siretart/gnucash/svn-repo.tar.gz for the initial setup instead

Done. Updates should now be imported from the server (and place much less load on it), although the first try at this failed -- is the ip of one of the import slaves being blocked?

Thanks, Michael.

I think your suspicion is probably right. The admin is a bit of a weirdo when it comes to the server, he seems to enjoy blocking IPs left and right and does so automatically. I got blocked three times from just normal interaction. Blocks are not scheduled to expire - ever, unless manually unblocked. I'd hate to have to do that much hand-holding for my server, but the choice is his.

I'll talk to the guy. What is the IP of neumayer? It looks like that one is being blocked.

Thanks again, appreciated.

I don't think it's related, but it could possibly be that the unresolved, undeleted main import from question 38637 might be what caused the blocking trigger.
