Combining PPAs into one (storage)

Asked by Peter Hunt

Hi, I now have all my PPAs working well and packages built. However, for user-friendliness (so people only have to add one PPA) it would be better if I could combine ppa:tigerite/llvm-3.8 (2Gb), ppa:tigerite/gcc (~1Gb) and ppa:tigerite/mint-graphics-fix (~200Mb) into ppa:tigerite/mint-xorg-update (~1.1Gb). I can combine the last two at the moment, of course, but the others would take me over storage. Therefore, please could you increase ppa:tigerite/mint-xorg-update to 5Gb, I will then delete the other PPAs (barring perhaps the GCC one) so the actual amount of space used will remain the same.

Many thanks in advance!
Peter Hunt

OK, I've increased the quota on ppa:tigerite/mint-xorg-update. Note (if you didn't know already) that you should be able to copy packages over from the other PPAs including existing binaries; you shouldn't need to rebuild things.

Yep, that's exactly what I was intending. Thank you for the swift response!
