Ran launchpad commands on WRONG computer.
Asked by
Ken Wagner
Working on neighbor's computer. Ubuntu 14.04 would not reinstall correctly. Sent error reports.
BUT
I got the replies on MY computer in an email. So, I ran the terminal commands.
Unwittingly, this mixed MY log reports with my NEIGHBOR'S computer system's.
But -- Good news!!! I fixed the problem by reinstalling the 'ttf-mscorefont
It had crashed each time via updates. Did the updates one-by-one.
It was the 'ttf' files downloads of the 'exe' font installers that either timed out or had errors.
So, it's now working OK.
My apologies for not realizing the error. I mistakenly thought Ubuntu 14.04 had found some strange error on MY computer. Both computers working OK.
Thanks for your help.
