Add markdown support

If I'm not mistaken, Launchpad currently only supports plaintext when writing a bug description or a comment.

It would be very helpful to add support for a markup language such as Markdown.

Rationale

Markup text allows to separate clearly different sections of a description/comment, allow to clearly mark code or quotes as such, allow to add links easily, make lists, etc.

Markdown is a very popular option and recently got a pretty clear specification document. [1]

Maybe asking this in the "Answers" section is not the best option. Please let me know if I should raise a feature request and how.
