Unlink email from an account

Asked by mistotebe

Hi,
Chris Halls has left the company, yet his email <email address hidden> is still subscribed to a couple of high volume lists, but we cannot make it bounce just yet. While I would believe the email is subscribed to his user (~halls), the user overview does not confirm it. Could you unlink the the email from its account* or, if it is the only email assigned to some other account, trigger a password reset or unsubscribe it from every bug, team and mailing list?

* do I understand it correctly that doing so would make all the mailing lists sent to one of his other emails instead?

That address isn't registered to any Launchpad account. Are you sure the mailing lists that continue to email it are run by Launchpad?

It receives various emails from a few Kubuntu teams, among others. Do you want any specific information to be able to find out which account it belongs to or headers/full transcripts of emails that have arrived?

The Received headers would be useful.

lists.ubuntu.com is not launchpad.net. Visit lists.ubuntu.com to unsubscribe from those lists.
