When do po translation status bars update ?

After uploading a pot, the po translation status bars do not update immediately. When does this happen ? To put it another way, when will the purple go away and how soon after a pot upload can I download pos which are all up to date ? Also, is there documentation that explains this in detail ?

Different answers depending on how I read the question:

Different displayed statistics are updated at different times, sometimes after the fact in order to reduce performance impact, but generally this is done at least once a day. Green, purple, and blue bars all indicate translations that have been imported; ones that are still waiting to be imported are not shown in the bar at all. Check your "See import queue" link to keep track of what happens to your import.

Uploaded templates are normally processed within minutes. However they need to be approved first. That is usually an automatic process, completing in a few hours at worst, but under some circumstances (such as uploading a completely new template, as opposed to an update of a known one) it requires manual review. You will automatically receive a notification email after it has been processed.
