Rename python-gear to gear

Hi,

I would like to register the project "gear", but Launchpad says it is in use, however, https://launchpad.net/gear returns 404.

If "gear" isn't in use, would it be possible to rename "python-gear" to "gear"?

I've freed up the name, renamed python-gear to gear, and added a redirect from the old name.

Can you help with this problem?
