problem on fetching source code

hi,
am trying to get the source code of Ascend(https://launchpad.net/ascend) using this comment
bzr branch https://code.launchpad.net/~jdpipe/ascend/trunk
but am getting this error

bzr: ERROR: Connection error: while sending GET /~jdpipe/ascend/trunk/.bzr/repository/indices/edbf8d205f34843901fd760204fffc1f.rix: [Errno 110] Connection timed out
and i tried out this alternative method
  bzr branch lp:ascend
an its also showing same time out error...
how to get this code ?

runnning
    bzr branch lp:ascend
gets all 2653 revisions. for me. Maybe you had a slow connection at the time, or Lp code host was burdened.
