need to merge two accounts but cannot access one account's email address anymore

 I would greatly appreciate if you would associate my old Launchpad account "andrea-gallo" to my new email address
"<email address hidden>" and delete / merge my new (wrong) "andrea-gallo-o" account.

I have just moved from ST-Ericsson to Linaro and my previous "<email address hidden>" email address does not work anymore. I have tried to merge both "andrea-gallo" and °andrea-gallo-o" Launchpad accounts but obviously it sends a request to my old and inaccessible email account.

Please note that while trying to change the email addresses myself, I have ended up using also my private <email address hidden> address.

So right now it seems I have:

andrea-gallo = <email address hidden> but inaccessible
andrea-gallo-o = <email address hidden> with a given password
andrea-gallo-o = <email address hidden> with a different password!?!?

PLEASE KINDLY NOTE THAT MY PRIMARY LAUNCHPAD ACCOUNT "andrea-gallo" IS ALREADY FULLY USED IN THE LINARO WIKI PAGES AND IS THE ONE THAT I WISH TO KEEP AND HAVE ASSOCIATED TO MY NEW "<email address hidden>" EMAIL. THE OTHER LAUNCHPAD ACCOUNT "andrea-gallo-o" CAN BE DELETED.

Hi Andrea,
I did the requested merge (keep andrea-gallo, merge-in @linaro.org, @gmail.com email addfesses), also triggered an email confirmation for these two - after you confirm them, you'll be able to reset the primary email contact address.

Yes, I saw that last week, while I was travelling. I tried it and it works with the Linaro wiki pages, excellent thank you!!!

I have just confirmed my linaro.org email address by accessing my Launchpad account page and clicking on "confirm". I now see that I have three email addresses confirmed in launchpad all with "andrea-gallo" account. But the preferred one is @stericsson.com, which I cannot access anymore. How can I change the "preferred" address to @linaro.org and then remove @stericsson.com?

Selene Scriven has just written to me asking if we can remove the secondary account, which also links to "andrea-gallo". I fully agree, we can delete the secondary one.

I have another question as well: I see that there is also another account in Launchpad as "Andrea Gallo" "launchpad-tsfx3jh", what is this?

Hello again,

I have managed to change the preferred contact email to my linaro address and then I have removed both stericsson and gmail email addresses from my primary "andrea-gallo" launchpad account.

Nevertheless, I still have another launchpad account linked to my gmail.com email account which logs me in into "andrea-gallo".

Any need to delete this account associated to <email address hidden>?

We cannot delete accounts or Launchapd profiles. The address you site belongs to the profile you used to report this issue, but it is unclaimed by you. Check your email to to find the message Lp sent to confirm you control the email address. You can also try to re-add the email address to this profile, and Lp will send a new confirmation email.
