Merging accounts, old account's email not accessible

Asked by Andrey Hristov

 Dear Sir/Madam,
I would like my old account with email <email address hidden> merged with this account. MySQL was acquired by SUN Microsystems, which in turn was acquired by Oracle Corp. In the process @mysql.com email addresses were removed. Thus I don't have access to the old account. I am still using the same public/private key pair from that time. What could be done?

Hi Andrey,
I don't see a current account associated with <email address hidden>. However, there is an account for <email address hidden> which was originally <email address hidden>, but that was deleted from LP. Do you still have access to the sun email address? If you do you can follow https://help.launchpad.net/YourAccount/Merging to merge your accounts.

no @sun.com addresses were switched off too. Just tried, to be
completely sure. Okay, because my user was andrey-mysql, that was the
reason to think that I used <email address hidden> as email.
What can be done now?
