I don't find ligurian in Chromium translation at:

I've missing some steps to start the ligurian translation?

This issue is not about a defect in Launchpad code. I think this is a question about how to translate into a language setup for translations in Lp.

Chromium's translations in Launchpad are managed by the Launchpad Translators translation group. This group has no Ligurian translation team to manage Ligurian translations.

The project has no translations because it's been configured to allow only translations to languages that the group actually has a team for. A Ligurian translation team would be responsible for all Ligurian translations in projects that have their translations managed by this group.
