Import private branch from github.com

I was wondering if as part of the ability to import git branches to a launchpad project, it's possible to import private branches from github.com. I guess this isn' t possible since probably a private ssh key is required and this isn't part of the information stored in the launchpad profile. Anyway, I wanted to make sure. Thanks.
